Hi there,

This is Lihang, AKA hustcalm, Github link is https://github.com/hustcalm.

Glad to know you guys and this is the first time for me to post in this
mailing list.

First of all, I want to say Hello to all the developers and your great
project JdeRobot. Thanks for the reminder of JoseMaria, I have applied for
GSoC 2015, filled the form and done with the challenges. My solutions to
the challenges can be found at:
https://github.com/hustcalm/JdeRobotChallenge.

Regarding all the ideas, I'm specially interested in project #8, structure
reconstruction using Kinect2 device. So I would very much to have a further
discussion about this project. Of course other ideas are also very
attractive because I'm really having fun with Robotics, Sensors, Embedded
systems, Softwares, etc.

Here is my brief plan for contributing to JdeRobot:
(1) Read the manual and FAQ to get a more clear vision about the underlying
components along with the whole architecture
(2) Try the components by hacking the source code, focusing on the issues
maybe and learn by fixing bugs
(3) Help with new features, documentation, etc

I've been with the Github repo(https://github.com/RoboticsURJC/JdeRobot)
for days and wondering if there is a issue tracker elsewhere? Because I saw
on the official website that we used SVN for version control? Thinking that
starting with bug fixes might be a good choice for me:-)

Really want to help and working together with you guys:-)

Best Regards,
Lihang
