[JdeRobot] Jde-developers Digest, Vol 108, Issue 4

Currently testing the installation running some of the examples.

In Example 4.1 (Simulated Kobuki + Kobuki Viewer), kobuki viewer component
fails to run. I'm getting the following error:

$ kobukiViewer kobukiViewer.cfg
[Info] loaded Ice.Config file: kobukiViewer.cfg
Receiving Pose3D from ICE interfaces
kobukiViewer.Pose3D connected
Receiving Image from ICE interfaces
kobukiViewer.Pose3Derror during request (connection error)
BasicStream.cpp:2694: Ice::NoObjectFactoryException:
protocol error: no suitable object factory found for
`::jderobot::CameraDescription':
no object factory found and compact format prevents slicing (the sender
should use the sliced format instead)
!! 13/09/17 12:32:59.766 error: communicator not destroyed during global
destruction.Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Again, working through JdeRobot 5.5.2 and latest version of Academy
repository.

I noticed that the configuration file of this component (kobukiViewer.cfg)
is different from what it is supposed to look like (
http://jderobot.org/index.php/Running_JdeRobot#Simulated_Kobuki_.2B_KobukiViewer).
Could this be the problem?

Regards,
Rafa
