IKCC organizes national and international programming competitions for children, in Scratch 3.0 language

Registrations for the World Scratch Coding OLYMPIAD 2021 start on Sep 1, 2021 !

Participation in these competitions is absolutely FREE!
This competition is online, the projects being made at home, at the club or at school directly on the website www.scratch.mit.edu.

Age categories:
Accepted age categories:
:: 7-8 years old
:: 9-10 years old
:: 11-12 years old
:: 13-14 years old

What must be done to participate in IKCC competitions?
1) -create for each participant an account on www.ikcc.info (only once .. with this account he will be able to participate in all future competitions organized by IKCC). You can create the IKCC accounts now , before the competitions starts ...
2) -create for each participant an account on the official Scratch website (www.scratch.mit.edu)
3) -participants will register for the current competition (starting with September 1, 2021) directly from the account created on ikcc.info
4) -the participants will carry out the projects (in Scratch 3.0) on the account opened on www.scratch.mit.edu
5) -before the submission deadline displayed on the ikcc website (last submission day:  30 sep. 2021), the competitor will complete the project on his scratch.mit.edu account and will set SHARE to that project in order to be opened by IKCC referees. At the same time, he will upload the link to that project (project link example: https://ikcc.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=ae012e405f87d971850423684&id=f3a41d2404&e=9bc5e0ea26 ) in the account created on IKCC, at the currently open competition!
6) -the participants will not modify the projects after the last day of submission! The participant's projects will respect the theme given by the organizer, the theme displayed at each contest on the site. To avoid the risk of beeing disqualified, participants are NOT ALLOWED to browse the project with EDIT mode after the submission deadline date. The project can be of any type: story, animation, game, mixed, etc ...
7) -the script must be original, written by the competitor for this competition, not being allowed remixed projects. Projects that have participated in other national / international IKCC competitions in the past cannot be entered. You can use graphics / music licensed to the competitor.

Diplomas, awards and certificates:
Participation Certificates for all participants, with unique s/n (verifiable credential on the site)!

Diplomas for winners, with unique s/n for:
:: 1-st place
:: 2-nd place
:: 3-rd place

Special diplomas, with unique s/n, for:
:: Outstanding script / code
:: Outstanding story / scenario
:: Outstanding animation

Is it important to win? No! It is great to win , but it is not so important! I
mportant is to participate to many competitions. This will develop your algorythms and codes. Participating is winning !

Contest deadlines:
:: first day to register for the contest: September 1, 2021
:: last day for project link submission: September 30,2021
:: announcement of winners: October 15, 2021

You can become an international IKCC-judge if you teach Scratch 3.0 programming language at your School or IT Club!

:: Register as an IKCC-judge and you will be able to participate at all our kids competitions in Scratch language!
:: All our judges will be presented in main page of IKCC.info (name, picture, country, expertise, qualifications) and this is a very good promotion for you and your IT-Club/School!
:: Only one (1) judge registration per School/ IT Club allowed.

Some details for you:
:: each entry will be reviewd by a panel of judges. The decisions of the judging panel are final.
:: the IKCC-judges will receive online the list of submitted-projects (links) and will award the score for each project. All judging activity is done online!
:: scoring rules are listed for each competition
:: schools and coding/IT clubs could register 1 judge per school/club at IKCC.info . For that, please send an email to office at ikcc.info (mailto:office at ikcc.info)   with your school/club judge proposal:
-Name and surname of the judge
-School or Coding club you represent
-Age (minimum 18 y.o.)
-Picture (like for passport)
-Computer/software skills (knowledge of Scratch 3.0 language is a must)
-Letter of recomandation from actual school/club where you are teaching Scratch
-Email for contact
