This year marks a special occasion: the 25th anniversary edition of the Belgium-Netherlands Software Evolution Workshop. It will take place on November 26-27, 2026, in Madrid, Spain, at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. BENEVOL is an informal forum for researchers working on software evolution and maintenance. BENEVOL has brought together researchers from academia and industry across Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond for 25 years. The workshop is a platform to share new ideas, discuss open problems, and get feedback on ongoing work. Early-stage researchers are especially welcome! This special edition puts a particular emphasis on fostering discussion in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Submission categories: Full Papers (up to 12 pages): original and validated research Short Papers (up to 6 pages): datasets, tools, new ideas, or early results Presentation Abstracts (up to 2 pages): already published or submission-ready work Submissions will take place via EasyChair using the single-column CEUR- ART template and will follow a single-blind reviewing model. Accepted full papers will be included in the workshop post-proceedings (published via CEUR-WS). Short papers may be included in the post- proceedings on a case-by-case basis.
