Hello Javier,

Thanks for the proposal, and apology for radio silence. I am getting this processed internally.
Also, I have also informed Mathias (at FIT) of our intention to build open source solution from bottom up, I will keep you posted if any change happens beside the de-facto we both know.

Thanks
Kashif

Hello Kashif

I enclose our project proposal and the template of contract (in English) with the University. I would expect that:

1) You consider whether our project proposal sounds good or not, and that you give us detailed feedback about any aspects that may not seem compatible with your expectations.

2) That your legal services study and modify as needed the terms of the contract, and that you fill in all the required info in it.

Once we agree in the terms of the project and the contract, we can go on with signing and executing the agreement. Only after that we can hire the expected two people, which unfortunately takes between 1 to 2 months. We are a public administration and we are eforced by the law to make publicly available the call for the post during a minimum period, and to follow a formal process with all sorts of guarantees for the candidates.

Provided that our university works at 25% of its capacity in August, I hope that we can make it to have everything working in the shortest delay.

Best

Javier

Hello Javier,

Welcome back, hope you had good Easter holidays.

This sound like a good plan. I think we can start with proposal as eventually it will rolled up into TIP SoW. We can also setup a call next week, if you want to go over the proposal together.

Thanks,
Kashif

Hello Kashif

In our conf-call before Easter we said that we would discuss this week about the details of an agreement between FB/TIP and our university (URJC) for getting support that would permit to incorporate two more junior researchers to our team in order to produce an open-source backhaul solution that fits in the OC project.

We are preparing a short proposal for you and we would send it together with templates of agreements with the university next Monday if you agree. Please tell us if that sounds ok or you prefer to give us some hints on what FB/TIP would be proposing or expecting.

Best
