hola, 
lo acabo de  probar y se cierra en cuanto carga la interfaz gráfica. y si
lanzo gzserver y gzclient por separado la violacion de segmento me da en
gzclient:

en un terminal: 
aitor en Zack:~$ gzserver
Gazebo multi-robot simulator, version 1.8.2
