I am working with ubuntu 12.04.5 in a VMware machine. I am using usb 3.0 port
with kernel 3.13. I dont know exactly how to see the usb controller i am
using so i give you some lines if i have the luck to have them in there:

More info:
When i compile protonect without arguments or without openGL, protonect does
not execute and i got the message in dmseg that i said.
When i compile protonect without openGL, protonect executes, find kinect
connected but when it tries to communicate with kinect, it gets a time out
error in libusb.
