[KGB-L3] Teacher/API access to Dr Scratch

Hi Gregorio,

Thanks for this. It’s a pity that it wasn’t able to go further.

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/573355265 is a project that I can access online, but Dr Scratch states that it is not on the scratch servers.

Also, the same project downloads as the attached sb3 file (Mario), which causes a server error… I also attach a second project (Car Game) which cannot be loaded by Dr Scratch, but can load into Scratch…

Any thoughts?

  Hi, David

  we discontinued the organizations service because we didn't have the funding for it. We haven't been able to convince public bodies that this is something interesting to have :(

  if you send us the sb3 file, we will have a look at it, and see if there is bug somewhere that needs to be fixed.

  we don't have an API for doing that right now. Let me see if I find a student that wants to implement it in the next future.

A second issue would be that I am trying to assess a student project, which they’ve sent me as an sb3 file. I can load it into Scratch, but I get a 500 error on Dr Scratch. How can I test this?

Finally, I have a project management system I am using at school, to which students upload their scratch project links. I would love to have a button on that system to alunch the Dr Scratch system with this URL. The anti-spam system on Dr Scratch prevents me from doing this… is there any kind of API access, or method to directly call from another website?
