Hi
I am a computer science student (undergraduate,3rd year) at IIIT Hyderabad,
India working in the computer vision lab (https://cvit.iiit.ac.in/). I have
taken the computer vision, robotic and trajectory planning, digital image
processing courses at my university. I have put links to relevant
projects/assignments at the end of the email. I am well versed with python,
opencv and git.
I have also worked at a computer vision startup (DreamVu Inc.
https://dreamvu.com/) which makes monocular 360-degree depth cameras. I
benchmarked the product output on standard scene segmentation, 3d
reconstruction, object identification algorithms. I also implemented a tool
that identified and removed specularity(inpainting) from the stereo output,
that was also integrated into the company's SDK.
Currently, I am working on a project in collaboration with the robotics lab
(https://robotics.iiit.ac.in/) that involves scripting for making a random
3d warehouse dataset on Blender and working on navigation and scene
recognition tasks.
I am interested in the first project (*Project #1: Robotics Academy: new
computer vision exercises*) and would like to know more about kind of
work(expected algorithms to be implemented etc.) for the same. I would be
obliged if you could also direct me to some other project which is within
my capability.
I would like to know about :
- requirements and formalities to be completed
- what needs to be included in the project proposal
Looking forward to a favorable reply.
